The sheet music of three new ‘kingdom songs’ has been leaked to JWsurvey

An anonymous source has contacted JWsurvey with details of three new songs to be released at Watchtower’s 2014 Annual Meeting, which is expected to be held this coming weekend.

Entitled “The Kingdom Is in Place – Let It Come!,” “Grant Us Boldness” and “Jehovah Is Your Name,” the songs underscore the need for Witnesses to be obedient, and to stand firm in the face of opposition.

Also leaked is a personnel list of the six Governing Body committees, including the names of all Governing Body helpers. Helpers are essentially an elite class of bethelite who assist the Governing Body and are thus most likely to become Governing Body members themselves some day (provided they profess to be of the anointed).

The leaked new songs are as follows…

Song A
The Kingdom Is in Place – Let It Come
(Revelation 11:15)

Jehovah, you always have been
And always you will be.
You’ve given the throne to your Son;
He rules by your decree.

The Kingdom has been brought to birth;
His rulership will fill the earth.

CHORUS
For now have come to pass
Salvation and kingdom and might.
The Kingdom is in place.
We pray: “Let it come, Let it come!”

The time for the Devil is short;
We know what this will mean.
Though living in times of distress,
We see the things unseen.

The Kingdom has been brought to birth;
His rulership will fill the earth.

(Repeat chorus)

(See also Dan. 2:34, 35; 2 Cor. 4:18.)

Song B
Grant Us Boldness
(Act 4:29)

As we tell about the Kingdom,
As we witness for your name,
There are many who oppose us,
And who try to bring us shame.

But instead of fearing men,
It’s really you we must obey.
So we beg you now for your spirit,
O Jehovah, hear what we pray.

CHORUS
Grant us boldness as we witness;
Help us overcome our fear.
Give us confidence and courage,
So that all the world may hear.
Armageddon draws ever near,
But until that great day is here,
Grant us boldness as we witness.
This is our prayer.

Even though we may be fearful,
You remember we are dust.
Your assurance to support us,
Is a promise we can trust.

Give attention to the threats
Of those who persecute and blame.
May you help us all to continue
As we boldly speak in your name.

(Repeat chorus)

(See also 1 Thess. 2:2; Heb. 10:35.)

Song C
Jehovah Is Your Name
(Psalm 83:18)

The living and true God
The God of all creation
In every generation
Jehovah is your name.

We’re honored and we’re proud
To be your congregation.
In every tribe and nation,
Your glory we proclaim.

CHORUS
Jehovah, Jehovah, there is no God like you.
There’s no other in the heavens, or on the earth below.
You alone are God Almighty,
And this all men must know.
Jehovah, Jehovah,
We have no other God but you.

You cause us to become
Whatever you desire,
To do as you require
Jehovah is your name.

And witnesses for you
Is what you’ve kindly named us.
We’re honored you have claimed us,
A people for your name.

(Repeat chorus)

(See also 2 Chron. 6:14; Ps. 72:19; Isa. 42:8.)

Noteworthy in Song A is the nod towards Revelation 12:12, where it describes Satan being hurled to the earth in 1914 for a “short period of time” before kingdom rule is established. That 100 years can be considered a short period of time by any stretch of the imagination is one of the most obvious failings of Watchtower’s increasingly embarrassing teaching surrounding 1914, which it continues to cling to in its most recent publications.

Song B seems to be a rallying call against those who “oppose” the organization, and urges obedience in the face of their “threats” (along similar lines to the recent “close ranks” rhetoric). Expect this song to accompany future talks and Watchtower studies that focus on apostates, as Watchtower continues to spread fear and paranoia regarding “those who persecute and blame.”

Song C seems intended to be sung as an anthem invoking pride among Jehovah’s Witnesses in their commission as divine representatives. An intriguing lyric boasts that “in every tribe and nation, your glory we proclaim.” Citizens of Somalia, North Korea and Afghanistan, where there are NO Jehovah’s Witnesses (at least as of 2007), will be curious as to the meaning of this verse.

Governing Body committee information leaked

As previously mentioned, a highly classified document has also been leaked listing by name ALL of the personnel on the Governing Body committees.

“Those serving on this committee supervise the printing and shipping of Bible literature worldwide. They oversee printeries and properties owned and operated by the various corporations used by Jehovah’s Witnesses, as well as all construction worldwide, including the work of building Kingdom Halls. They arrange for the best use of funds donated for the Kingdom work.”

Donald Gordon
Robert Luccioni
Alex Reinmueller
David Sinclair

Service Committee

It also cares for the organization’s Web site and oversees the translation work done throughout the earth. Additionally, this committee responds to questions about the meaning of certain scriptures and points presented in the publications.”

Samuel Herd
Geoffrey Jackson
Mark Sanderson
David Splane
Robert Ciranko
James Mantz
Izak Marais
Gene Smalley
John Wischuk

(This list is up-to-date as of September 2014. I intend to update this article in the near future with photos of some of the helpers.)

In all, 36 individuals serve across the six committees, including the 7 Governing Body members. It is interesting to note that only one of the Governing Body members, Gerrit Lösch, doesn’t serve on three committees. The fact that he only serves on two is probably due to his advanced years more than anything.

It is also seems that there might have been some kind of shake-up of the Governing Body committees since 2009, or else the “Bearing Witness” book (published in that year) is in error. It says on page 110 that the Coordinators’ Committee “consists of the coordinators of each of the other committees and a secretary who is also a member of the Governing Body.” This does not seem to be the case according to this leaked information.

Though there is nothing too explosive in this latest series of leaks, it has gone some way to shedding light on the people in the higher echelons of the organization, directly beneath the Governing Body. The fact that this information has surfaced is also an encouraging indication that the Governing Body does not enjoy the unanimous loyalty of all those working in and around the headquarters.

Hated the 2009 songbook bar a couple of songs–134 and 91, all the rest seemed very cultish to me even back then. These new songs impress that feeling even more! Thanks buddy.
Oh, and the GB thing, I think it won’t be long until they single out 1 individual for that role….

The only toe curling lyric I can remember from childhood, when the JW song book still contained som adapted Hymns Ancient and Modern stuff was ‘Onward Theocratic Warriors’. Those who have made a close study of JW musical evolution may be able to tell us whether referring to ‘those who try to shame’ is a first. Might it be a reaction to all the bad publicity which, with the internet age, multiplies daily.

I am happy to see that there are some people on the ‘inside’ working against this organization. I have always wondered how intelligent people that are slaving for the WT feel about what they see going on and this proves to me that it is affecting them too!
Now I just hope that a couple of their lawyers defect or some other very influential ones with the dirt about what is really going on.
It’s too bad that we couldn’t provide some safe place where these long-term WT servants could run and ride and have a comfortable retirement. Then more might be brave enough to leave the “mother” and expose what they know.

If the Watchtower did display love and loyalty it would trust all its members with the flock of God book and information such as this. . . What’s to hide? Perhaps also it could be more transparent and frank with its past mistakes instead of back handedly blaming God and others. Shout it from the rooftops. Is it not also true that Christ said, ‘ whatever you say in secret’. . .

    Hi Cedars,

Just thought it was interesting the mention of Don Adams in one of the committees. It’s interesting but most people do not seem to know he is the current Watchtower president as of 2000 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Alden_Adams). In fact if you ask most witnesses they will say that they do not have a president. Anyways just a bit of info I thought you may find interesting if you didn’t know it already.

For sure, the Society uses music to it’s advantage to inspire devotion. Quoting from the Feb. 22nd 1993 Awake page 25 it says under the Power of Music

“Music has power. Indeed, it can play on the gamut of human emotions – from sadness and pathos to love and joy. Music can lull one into calmness and incite one to rage. It can inspire devotion and promote decadence. Little wonder, then, that from ancient times, music has been a potent tool of the “the god of this system of things,” Satan the Devil. – 2 Corinthians 4:4.

My favorite song from the current song book that is hard to not like is #111. The rest of the songs, I could take or leave but that song is a song that everyone sings like they are opera singers who haven’t been “discovered” yet and that was me too. There are a lot of songs in Christendom that I really like too, but I was never allowed to admit it out loud.

I wonder about the ages of the members on these committees
in view of the fact that elder coordinators in the congregations
have to stand down when reaching the age of 80.?

Another question that arises is, If they have to be of the anointed
how can they meet that qualification,? as the cut off year for
inclusion in that elite group is 1935.?

I was born in 1932, and being an infant in 1935 with no possible
record of faithful service, could not qualify as one of the rulers
over the rest of mankind.. My son is older than several members
    of the G,B,

If they abide by the rule placed on the congregations, The members
on these committees must be under 80 years old.

How long will people allow them selves to be scammed by a bunch
    of hustlers.

Song B first verse, “There are many who oppose us and try to bring
us shame.” ( They evidently need no help from opposers).

They’d better sing the chorus from “The Troubles”, a song on the last album of U2 “Songs of Innocence”:

    Somebody stepped inside your soul
Little by little they robbed and stole
Till someone else was in control.

I worked with several of the members of some of the committees while I was at Bethel.

    Coordinators’ Committee:

John Ekrann, formerly an overseer in MEPS at the farm. Although I worked very little with you, your reputation was as someone who cared about those you worked with and by most accounts a really decent man. If Watchtower were who they pretend to be, you would be on the right committee looking out for others. Sadly you are misguided by 7 self righteous and self appointed liars.

    Writing department:

Izak Marais was my overseer in MEPs at WT farms, the one good thing I can say about him was he was a good ping pong player and has a good speaking voice being from South Africa. As far as reaching out to any young person home sick or suffering a personal loss, not a chance, to busy looking for praise. He is self righteous, self absorbed and loves to hear himself speak and knows what a privilege you have being in his presence, which he proves with his self adoring smile.

Gene Smalley has been on the writing committee for some time, he was on it in the 80s. I worked with him personally as he came to the farm to tell us how our software should work when he wasnt a programmer, even stating that parts of it were STUPID (there is brotherly love and humility) I felt uneasy when he was with me and I was not even the one he was complaining about. He expressed no thankfulness for our work nor our sacrifice that made him look smart. Hey Gene, I have waited 26 years to tell the world that in my little cubicle you sat there after lunch and flatulated out loud with not so much as an excuse me, or oh I am sorry. You are the definition of a pig. I know you will read this and if you think back, you will know who to target. To prove my point, I am not disfellowshipped because the elders in my hall are scared to death of my attorney. Start your witch hunt loser.

John Wischuk is an example of what money can buy. He worked for a large company owned by the Horn family in New York. They were Watchtowers Farms agency for selling their technology and developing their own. Watchtower could use volunteer labor and money to develop products and the Horns could bring them to market. Theocratic strategy? More like theocratic greed. I was not allowed to sell a single thing I wrote or came up with when I left Bethel, because you jerks were doing it with WT’s blessing. Hey John, remember Steve Quick or as many on this website may remember Quickverse, his little software program? His company wrote the commercial program that was the predecessor to WT Library. All of the elders were using it before WT was forced to release WT Library. The congregation would have the same access the writers had, leveling the playing field and dispelling the claim of holy spirit when it was technology helping them write articles. WT gave Steve Hell for releasing the software that he almost single handedly wrote. Steve is a real genius unlike you thieves. Watchtower and your company used us and John Kurzin another real genius for your financial enrichment and stole our years and intellectual property

Here is a new kingdom song from the GB

Our propaganda we spread from mountains to beaches
Money and time we steal just like Amazon leeches
We praise our God and son and tell their story
As long as everyone knows we get all the Glory

    (chorus)
Praise, Praise, Praise our stories of the end,
Threaten, Threaten, Threaten make disagreeing a sin
Our prophecies fail, fail, fail and we owe an apology
Tell more lies, lies, lies and demonize technology

There are only a select few that will rule in heaven,
The power and money go to the self appointed seven
Let the Kingdom rule with wisdom and knowledge
Everyone’s a janitor cause we didn’t go to college

    (repeat chorus)

The end is coming and we believe with expedience
We follow the Governing Body with blind obedience
Even though every promise the make does fail
We shall follow our leaders straight in to He**

    (repeat chorus)

Watchtower come out from behind your authority. Have a public question and answer session. You remind me of a school yard bully.
As long as someone is giving you their lunch money and candy/valuable things you remain happy. When they stop you threaten them with God because you are equal to God. . Isn’t that what the apostle Paul said?
I do not take this lightly. .
Governing body members I put you under Christian oath to have a public question and answer session or else you have denied
you are Christian. Refusing is not optional.

How come, after 100 years of failure, JW can continue to believe that Jesus is reigning in heaven after having dismissed Satan and his crowd of supporting angels?

Easy, it is, as song “A” states:

    “We see the things unseen”

With this criterion, one can continue to believe anything dictated by their masters!

Well, well, what a scoop, Lloyd!

Finally, we have some names to go with these committees! These men are responsible for a great deal of pain, suffering and slander.

The songs are utter crap. The rhyming patterns are all off and they do not scan well at all. The lyrics are the most important thing, but it would be cool if they asked Prince to write their tunes! Why don’t they use him, George Benson and the bassist from Sly and the Family Stone to write some proper tunes? Heck, even Hank Marvin could write a better song than these pathetic examples!

These “helpers” are on the conveyor belt towards “Anointing” if they play their cards right. They can climb the greasy pole to become Governing Body members!! It is important that these people are known and that they are held accountable for their actions and decisions.

Thankyou, anonymous source, for this information. Be careful! The Theocratic Thugs will be on your case about this.

    Peace be with you

    We’re Jehovah’s Witnesses
    We speak out in Ignorance
Ours is the God of false prophecy
What he foretells, never comes to be

We made Gods of wood and stone
But the true God, we’ve disowned
    Who is God Almighty?
    We have never known

We as men just cannot see
What is truth or false prophecy
For real truth, we look all in vain
But the True God, we defame

    We’re Jehovah’s Witnesses
    We speak out in ignorance
Ours is the God of false prophecy
What he foretells, never comes to be

    Rowland,

Don’t worry about it! I have had this banner on one of my comments, but the moderators are not unreasonable. If they decide to remove your comment (which is their right) then I should imagine that you will receive an email to explain why.

Remember, this is not primarily a forum. Lloyd and his team work hard to provide a platform for us to discuss topics and we all benefit from this. He, quite rightly in my opinion, does not want his site to be either pro faith or pro atheist. I believe that he has done right by all of us, and I have always been able to accept his verdict with good grace, because I understand his point of view (see above).

Both of us are vocal exponents of atheism and/or agnosticism and we have to abide by the same rules as those with faith. That is exactly how it should be.

Sometimes our comments can be, let’s say, slightly deficient in tact! We must respect the sensibilities of our fellow posters and that means swallowing our natural inclination to debunk all faiths as balderdash in favour of a less confrontational approach.

I always enjoy your posts, Rowland. I’m sure that many others who also post here would agree with me.

    Peace be with you

I may be way off here, but has anyone thought about the possibility that these “leaks” are intentional by the GB? I mean, think about it…”apostates” as much as we don’t like to admit it, play a vital role in their whole ploy. They need enemies in order for their little cult to go around. If there weren’t people who opposed them then where would the “persecution” come from? They use this so called “persecution” as a method to prove they are truly God’s people. The general public neither know enough about not really care to oppose them. Just sayin…it’s something to think about.

I wish that someone in Bethel would bring in a secret recording device to show everyone what really goes on behind closed doors. I am sure that it would be illegal but perhaps that would be the only way to show the rank and file witnesses that this is not God’s channel and that it really is just a corporation that is run by imperfect men, who in my opinion, are egomaniacs.

This thought has also gone through my mind and i do think that at least some of the “leaks” are GB approved, politicians do this all the time and the GB are really only leaders of their own little political party.
